Chosen To Speak Invited into SE Asia

“The smallest one will become a thousand, And the least one a mighty nation. I, the LORD, will bring it about quickly in its time.” Isaiah 60:22

—–The unmistakable honking of the auto rickshaw blares out cheer upon my return to SE Asia. Leaders in India and Bangladesh invited our ministry to what has really become “home away from home.” So grateful to be back, I am counting my blessings reconnecting with true family and discovering new opportunities.

—–India has surpassed China in population this year reaching 1.454 billion people to China’s 1.424 billion people. Though Christians represent a small fraction of the people, the Lord has been working mightily through numerous multiplying networks, of which we work with one. This is a pivotal time to step up and provide coaching support!

—–Another American pastor was arrested by going into the villages this month in India. The punishment for breaking “anti-conversion” laws is now up to life in prison. Yet the Lord is empowering the underground church to overcome in the midst of deep sacrifices.

—–As this was my ninth trip to India, the Lord called me back to familiar territory and familiar leaders previously connected through the work of Spirit of Martyrdom International. This trip, the Lord established a new additional India partnership equipping established leaders with the new training from Chosen to Speak. Our focus is on training the planting leaders who are two or three years past graduation.

  • Praise God, the Lord opened the door to train 50 leaders and to cultivate greater growth and confidence in sharing Christ.
  • Praise God, the translation of the Chosen to Speak training into Hindi is nearly complete.
  • Praise God for the vision to print more books, and to distribute our materials electronically.
  • Praise God for the opportunity to cultivate and strengthen more disciple makers by providing coaching support.
  • Praise God, the Lord sent me to Bangladesh to do some training in several churches in October as well.

    • How to Pray

  • Pray for leaders in India to have discernment and courage to speak Christ into their villages at a time when discernment is so vital.
  • Pray for the Hindi completion of Chosen to Speak to be polished well and take root within the culture of vast planting network there.
  • Pray the Lord to hone their communication skills more and more to be able to effectively multiply Christ into new areas where the gospel is unknown.
  • Pray for more opportunities to train leaders in Bangladesh and to grow the partnership strategically just where the Lord leads. We’ve been invited back to the speak in 2026, but confirmation is still pending.
  • Pray for the Lord to raise up more partners in India and the US to expand the work in India, Bangladesh, and around the world.
